We wanted to bring together people around the neighbourhood for one more time to enjoy a nice breakfast with live music, join our sustainability workshops with Verkstaden and Durca, and come with us for a historic walk around the area.
Halftime at Danube Flow - Danube Calling ’13 series of programmes
On 29th July the main events of this year’s Danube Flow –Danube’s calling ‘13 series of programmes ended with “Danube Day” in Budapest. Similarly to last year we organized our events with our partners together on the Danube embankment on special days. This year Get Inspired by the Danube - toolkit was especially emphasized, as it included newer games and a one-man performance for children. This year we aimed to show the events not only in Budapest. We were successful, as we participated in the events of “Danube Day” in Győr, and we also took part in ”Győrkőc fesztivál” for two days, where we met and played with hundreds of children.
Further cultural, eye-catching actions were put in the programme, such as the outstanding art project called 'Danube on the menu' and the photo workshop by Péter Kálló.
This year we found a really great venue for the event “Danube Day” in Budapest. On Kopaszi Dike we had long-lasting event. Many children and adults could enjoy our water games, see live sturgeons and listen to two splendid concerts close by the river. Several partners and companies joined our programmes and helped us make a success of them.
